Well I have finished my first semester of law school successfully. Well I hope successfully at least. I'm not sure what the grades will look like, I'm hoping in the B range (Fingers crossed). Looking forward to going back to the east coast in a few days to meet up with old friends.. so much has changed at home though, and I think i've changed, at least my way of thinking. I really think law school makes one more boring, as I find myself becoming bored with myself sometimes. Arg. Anyway back to freezing cold land on thursday.. that is one thing I do not miss about Boston, the snow & the cold. However there are other things I miss, notably the food and the people. The break will be spent applying to jobs for the summer - and generally doing nothing. I find it weird that now i'm bored with nothing to do,a fter being in the library for a month straight. It feels weird to not have something hanging over me. I guess i'll replace the schoolwork with the job applying thing. Writing a new cover letter everytime is very annoying though, especially when I don't even know what half the federal agencies i'm applying to do. The FCC Satellite regulation? What does that do, how do i show interest in regulation of satellite communications? lol.
Well happy holidays, maybe i'll update in another 5 months.

Lost in the Heartland
I've just arrived in Spearfish, SD on my epic journey across this nation. It's been a bit crazy, i fell in love with a new city (Chicago) and was mesmerized by the views of the Badlands. Yellowstone tomorrow. Some selected pics below.
I really enjoyed capturing the black and white grittiness of the El and a Chicago that seemed reminiscent of the roaring 20's. I have a lot more pictures, but takes a while to post on here.

Bye Boston
Well, its almost over. I leave in over a week. Lots of stress, lots of weird emotions. I'm leaving a huge mess behind with my personal life, which I feel is pretty screwed up here in MA.
News: I have a new roommate, hopefully this pans out. Its a long story, but living with that girl has not panned out, for the best I suppose. I found a new roommate and we are supposed to sign a lease tomorrow. At least the stress of that is over, now its just moving out by next tuesday and leaving everything I know here behind. Cross your fingers.
I just watched "Jesus Camp" today on the recommendation of a friend. These people are totally crazy. I hope this isn't representative of all evangelicals. I'm going to ask my evangelical friend if he thinks, as they people proclaim, that we should use up all the resources on earth because god put them there for us, and we are going to heaven afterwards so it doesn't matter. It's time for these people to come back to reality.
More updates to come.. I hope.
New address will be (hopefully) 1440 Hotel Circle North, San Diego CA 92108 I'll have an apartment number soon.
Check it out: here
I'll have the 2 bed 2ba floorplan w/ my own balcony.

Embarkation
Hi All,
I'm excited for the big move to SD in 3 1/2 weeks. I'm going to miss the people here in Beantown, but i'm so stoked about the idea of moving to such a paradise, meeting new people, and getting back to school.
I'm also very enthused about my trip across the country which is shaping up quite nicely.
Leaving August 3rd,
I'll be dropping into Philly to visit for the weekend, then getting to see Alexis in Chi-town on Monday. Then after Jill meets me Monday night, we'll embark to South Dakota on Tuesday(which i'm actually excited to see.. i'm sure this will last only the first five minutes of driving through) We will be stopping at the Corn Palace which i'm excited to see, and then driving through the Badlands and Mt Rushmore. From Rapid City we head to Yellowstone, spending a whole day there on Thursday, seeing the beautiful scenery and wildlife. From there we head to Vegas on Friday, hittin up the Strip; then to SD on either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, with Jill flying back to Boston from SD on Sunday.
I gave 3 weeks notice at work this past Friday: I can't wait, i'm starting to get senioritis.
I have a lot to get ready for the trip and moving out of my apartment (I think I'm going to have to have some sort of giveaway for free sale) Also I think I might be headed to Amherst this weekend for a little nostalgic visit to my alma mater.. i'm getting sentimental for some Antonios.
I also have just secured my housing situation, which i'm quite excited about. My new roommate seems cool, her name is Heather, we are sharing this seemingly beautiful apartment in an amazing complex in Mission Valley. She's a 2L which I think should come in handy if i need some advice starting out. Also the apt is across the street from Ikea and Starbucks... very convenient.
My new address will be 2155 Fenton Parkway, San Diego, CA 92108. I have to check on that actually, i'm not sure the exact street number.
I can't wait to get out there.
